(Quick and simple), this option is for those of us who only have a single hard disk with a single operating system or a simple dual boot installation maybe, and you just want to get your job done quickly and easily. You are having a problem with Grub.
Windows
(Quick and simple), this option is for those of us who only have a single hard disk with a single operating system or a simple dual boot installation maybe, and you just want to get your job done quicky and simply. You are primarily a Windows user, you are having a problem booting Windows, or you want to restore your MBR to boot Windows only. (Not Grub).
Boot & Tools
This option leads to menus that contian some extra handy tricks that might be needed.
- Boot a MBR on a non-first hard disk, (if you have a bootloader installed there).
- Boot an operating system from the first sector of it's partition (boot sector)
- Boot a 'slice'. A 'slice' is something like a partition, it's a term used by Solaris OS.
- Hide and unhide a partition.
- Activate a partition.
